Hello! My name is Mais Goodnight

Who am I exactly?

I am a photographer with a passion for people, purpose, and preserving the moments that matter.

I’ve been behind the camera professionally for a year and a half, but my passion for photography started much earlier. Back in high school, I was already shooting events and taking photos for car dealerships, learning the ropes by doing what I loved. I later went on to study marketing at the University of Indianapolis, but I felt God pulling me in a different direction — so I made the bold decision to leave college and pursue photography full-time. And I’ve never looked back.

Since then, I’ve completed several photography courses, invested in my craft, specialized in rustic, modern, and boho looks for whatever photos I’m shooting! and built my business around one simple goal: to create meaningful images that capture memories — not just poses. I shoot with a Canon camera and a whole lot of prayer, whether I’m working with couples, families, cars, or life’s big milestones.

My faith is at the core of everything I do.
Over the past few years—starting in my junior year of high school—my relationship with God has grown deeper and more personal. Photography has always been a passion of mine, but it’s also become a way for me to share my faith and reflect the beauty I believe He places in every person and moment.

I truly believe the Lord is present in everything, and I’m living proof of His grace. He has saved my life, given me countless chances, and continues to use this business as a way to reach people with His love. He is my greatest motivator, and I trust that every client He brings into my life is for a reason.

I make it a point to share love and positivity with everyone I encounter. To me, it doesn’t matter where you come from, what you look like, what you believe, how you dress, who you love, or what you do—everyone deserves kindness and respect. I genuinely love connecting with people and strive to tell a wide range of stories through my lens.

My faith has taught me to lead with love, because you never truly know what someone might be going through or how your paths might align. Some of my most meaningful connections have come through photography, often sparked by a simple conversation. Even if others don’t always agree with me, that’s okay—my heart remains open, and I welcome everyone.

Whether it's through creating lasting memories, encouraging smiles, or simply sharing light and joy, my goal is to leave every person I photograph feeling valued and uplifted — because to me, that’s real success.

  • My heart as a photographer is to create more than just beautiful images — I want to give you memories you’ll look back on and feel, moments of real happiness, connection, and joy that you’ll always want to remember. Every session is a chance to explore something new — whether it’s a fresh photography method, a meaningful conversation, or simply finding beauty in unexpected places.

I also dream big with this business. I hope to grow into weddings, create passion projects, and eventually travel to work with clients near and far. I’d love to continue photographing higher-end vehicles and connect with fellow business owners who share the same drive and vision. But no matter how far this journey goes, my priority will always be people — building genuine relationships and making sure every person I work with feels seen, valued, and inspired by the memories we create together.

  • My passion for cars started when I was just a little girl — captivated by the sound, the design, and the stories behind every machine. I quickly fell in love with German engineering, especially through watching Porsche racing, and that fascination only grew with time. Automotive photography allows me to combine two things I truly love: capturing beauty and celebrating the art and performance of cars. I’m especially inspired by the dedication car owners put into their builds — whether it’s a high-performance machine or a custom project, I truly believe every car has a story worth capturing. I’m proud of every build I photograph, because I see the heart and hard work behind each one. It’s more than just taking pictures — it’s about showcasing craftsmanship, character, and the emotion that cars can evoke.
